Authentic Friendships & Soli Deo Gloria Sisterhood giveaway!

Cindy Bultema, Jen Ferguson, and me at the Speak Up Conference.
Cindy Bultema, Jen Ferguson, and me at the Speak Up Conference.

Last Thursday through Saturday I attended the Speak Up Conference. I’ll have to tell you more about it at a later date, because right now when I try to form coherent thoughts, my mushy brain can only say things like asdflkjhi234dlkjg. Exactly. Mush.

However, I have a treat for you today! One of the fun things about the conference was getting to meet some online friends for the first time face to face. One of those friends was Jen from Finding Heaven Today and the Soli Deo Gloria Sisterhood. She was as delightful and warm in person as she is online. My only regret is that we didn’t get to run together! Maybe next time (but I have a hunch I wouldn’t be able to keep up with her).

On the last day of the conference, Jen had the brilliant idea to do a video blog together to talk about authentic friendships. Today on her blog, she is posting a review and give away of my book Isn’t it Time for a Coffee Break? When you watch the video, please keep in mind that we’d been going nonstop for three days, snuck out of lunch for a few minutes to record this, and my brain was already talking in asdfglk234sd.

After you watch the video, be sure to stop over to Jen’s post to read her review and enter to win a copy of the book! If you’ve never been to her site, you will love her.

Perhaps my brain is still mush! But, frankly, I think we were brilliant mush-talkers! 🙂 So loved meeting you and everything about you. And yes, we shall run together!!!

LOL! I guess when you’re a speaker you’re used to just talking through anything. Thanks so much for the fun vlog and review. Loved meeting you and everything about you as well! A running date is in order!

Oh, that is a great idea – one for teens!! This book would work well for families, and I did share multiple stories for things we did as a family, as well as what a few other husbands and wives did together. Thanks for stopping by!
